Lead of the AI-Team

As a lead engineer your job is to get our AI-team to the next level. Your main task is the development of new AI Deep learning solutions for various projects. In both image classification, object detection, 3D pointcloud analysis and multispectral imaging together with a team of AI developers. Next to that you will assist in the scaling up and getting the team to the next level of AI solutions. You’ll not only contribute on a technical level but also be responsible for the roadmap of AI technology within Pliant.

YOUR JOB AT PLIANT

  • Translating project specifications into technical specifications
  • Execute independently complex research tasks and manage the team in doing so
  • Responsible for the development and execution of the AI roadmap
  • Develop and shape our AI framework using C#, Python, PyTorch and TensorFlow
  • Design high performance and highly scalable AI solutions
  • Keep in touch with our customers
  • Keep up with the latest technology available in the market

What makes you the AI engineer we are looking for?

  • A bachelor or higher degree in a relevant field
  • Experience as senior AI engineer
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in Pytorch, TensorFlow, Resnet, CNN’s, Nvidia libraries
  • Experience with tuning and improving solutions using hyperparameter tuning
  • Structured way of working
  • Project result awareness
  • Knowledge about how to use Scrum or similar agile project tooling to get grip on development projects
